Ah Ji means elder sister in Kachin language.
Our Ah Ji necklace is named after our friend and supporter in Chiang Mai. It is joyful and bright, just like her.
A softly looping necklace, the Ah Ji design consists of two long loops that can be worn in three ways: in two loops, or looped tighter to create three or four strands of shorter length. The design lets you showcase your individuality and commitment to ethical fashion.
This limited-edition piece is made using traditional hand-loomed sarongs. Only five pieces are made in each fabric.
Ethically handmade by our Kachin artisans in Chiang Mai. The Ah Ji necklace brings together Kachin textiles with contemporary design. All our products empower women artisans and refugees from Burma. See more from our Kachin artisans.
Fabric: 100% cotton base with cotton blend used in pattern.
We also make the matching Ah Ji bangle.
